 | Joseph Prince is a slick TV entertainer.Period. |
 | OK, this is getting crazy. Please direct all issues about Joseph Prince to the relevant pages, AND argue your case according to the Scriptures. I will not entertain more drive-by posters or people who are more interested in making vacuous arguments without backing their confident assertions according to Scripture.
Remember, this is a guestbook, not the notice board in your house. |
 | JP's teachings focuses on Jesus rather than do's and don'ts for man which is very common in many churches today. Just watch/listen to his sermons and count the number of times he mentions or makes references to Jesus vs. other sermons you typically listen to in other churches. |
 | John was writing to gnostics,as well aschristians. They believed that 'sin was ian the material world, and did not affect the spiritual man. John wrote that the sin problem had been dealt with, and that now we have an advocate, here and now. I don't agree with Princeon the point that the Holy Spirit doesn't convict of sin. He searches the thoughts and intents of the heart. Alson read in Deut. 31, the 'handwriting of ordinances that Jesus blotted out was not the ten com.but the ordinacnes andstatutes that Moses was commanded to include, but not on the inside of the ark, but placed outside that ark. I wish I could ask Prince about which law was 'blotted out'. in Col. 2:14, it was not the 10 commandments, but the handwriting of ordinances that the enemy uses in condeming us. sorry, preaching again. |
 | Heresy, is simply religious 'here say'. If every one who called themselves christian would be 'berean', and search before they just criticize, they would find something of value in almost any teaching. I heard most all the WOF preachers, and Prince is different. I eat what is good and throw away the rest. But criticism is born of predjudice, and predjudice is born of ignorance. God grace is THE gospel, and it has to be radical or it is not grace. The finished work of Christ is seldom taught in our 'feudamental' churches. |
 | We have confused 'sound doctrine', and all it implies. I have both read and heard JoesphPrince on the subject of Grace, and I do not see how any hungry discerning child of God could fine fault with him or any of what he says. The church that is the ecclesiastical, dead church has forgotten what Paul boldly preached, that 'our righteousness is filthy rags. The mixture of gospel and hell fire preaching has confused God's church for so long, there is bondage, the likes of which I have myself been apart of for over 40 years. Books as well as messages are given by fallible men for us to listen to, and then check out for ourselves what does the Bible say. We as a whole are spoon fed, instant coffee type, and the average christian doesn't spend enough time with God or His word to discern much of anything. After 40 years of the bondage above, Joesph Prince made me search, and after searching I am for the first time in my entire christian life am free of condemnation. I have taken the gospel and see nothing but the grace of God in the life of Jesus and in most all of Paul's epistles. I know this is not a soap box, but I have been alive long enough to know it is time to stop throwing the baby the bath water, and the freedom grace provides out because it isn't from our group. There is enough truth in his teaching to get the average christian out of condemnation and living the Life Jesus gave us by the shedding of His most precious blood. Stop trying to sift everyone through 'your idea' of truth. |
 | Astronova,
Amen! Thank you for standing again heresy in this apostate age. I once was a JP fan, but I felt the Spirit keep telling me that something was not right with his teachings. I have found many mistakes and grew tired after awhile of hearing the same message repeated over and over and over (almost like hypnosis or a mantra), only each time rearranging the wording. I don't know how to explain it, but sure you know what I mean. I needed 'meat' and the 'milk' he offered was sour at that.
So many think obedience is legalism and do not understand what they are talking about.
I even had an argument with one of these zombies lately that I simply stated that believers should heed the advice and commands given in the NT. This person attacked and blocked me and kept saying I was saved by grace, not works. Around and around it went. He just did NOT get it! Wow. It still blows my mind. Then this person blocked me. I pray he repents and comes back to the truth!
Keep doing what you are doing. I have read a few of your posts and have enjoyed the discussions. I am working on a video now exposing this man and if it is ok, I would like to quote you on a few things that are right on about this smooth talker.
You are being heavily persecuted here which shows the Spirit among this thread. Remember that great is your reward in Heaven, so rejoice! :) Hallelujah! Keep running the race, Friend. Love and shalom to you and yours... Mindy (and Grace too because this was written AFTER the cross. lol. sure you get my reference. Be well)
PS; WHERE did these folks get the idea that the verse in 1 John 1:19 about attaining forgiveness of sin, was addressed to gnostics? I don't get that. Why do they think that? Can you enlighten me as I have looked and it makes no sense. My guess is it came from Prince's mouth alone.
And another thought is that JP claims satan convicts of sin and not the Holy Spirit and to rebuke that voice (I think he said this once, correct me if I am wrong). If we say to the Spirit, to rebuke him,. that it is an evil voice, this seems very dangerous and blasphemous to me. |
 | @raindownonme:
you're welcome |
 | It is truth-seekers who know the truth! Anyone that doesn't clearly see that Joseph Prince's fruit is rotten... then it clearly shows they (a.) they aren't reading the Bible; or (b.) they choose to believe the nonsense that false teachers put out because they either feel; or truly believe that they are excused from following the Laws of God. or (c.) they follow false teachers instead of God and in hearing what our ears are supposed to hear. Dangerous, slippery slope in false teachings. He who has ears, let him hear! |
 | We aren't to judge people, not even Joseph prince; but we can righteously judge the fruits of people... We don't condemn Joseph Prince, he condemns himself. |
 | Thank you so much for speaking out on false teachings of Joseph Prince! There are so many being led astray... especially young people.
God continue to bless you, this day and everyday! |
 | Hi Bonita, the key issue with Prince is that he denies that the Law is of any use for believers. Prince is technically true that believers are not under the Law to earn their salvation and that the Law does not condemn us. But for him any mention of the Law is always evil.
Therefore, for Prince, you cannot say that adultery is violating God's Law. You can only say that adultery is something a Christian should not do. So sin is not defined as transgressing God's Law but as a deficient lifestyle that Christians should not be doing. If they do so, they are living deficiently but not lawlessly. |
 | Hi Daniel, I wasn't very familiar with Joseph Prince, but went to his site and listened very carefully to some of his sermons, as well as the one you have posted. I'm just not hearing whatever it is you are hearing, brother, as it sounds a great deal like what the Lord is showing my Friday ladies bible study group as we study Romans together. Please expound on what he is teaching that you find to be heretical so I can understand where you are coming from. thanks |
 | Hello! I'm not sure if you've actually heard any of Pastor Prince's sermons... I think you need to listen to at least a range of them before you call him a heretic? That's a really strong word to use. And I know some people from New Creation Church who are (for lack of a better word) weird, but not all of them are. In fact, I think most of them are God-loving people who really have a heart for God's work. The bottom-line is, in a church of 22,000, there're bound to be a number of black sheep, so don't condemn the whole based on the strange behaviour of a few? =)) Cheers |
 | That's besides the point. The point is that you are hypocritical in passing judgment on me since you clearly think that judging people is wrong.
So why should I listen to you when you don't even practice what you preach? |
 | tell you what bro listen to his preachings it's called grace revolution its about 5 preachings i think. I'll send you a link if you want and then do your "analysis", I think he said he's a Jesus preacher not a grace preahcer. Do your "analysis" on Peter Youngren as well and let me know what is God telling you about these preachers. Joseph preached at Hillsong church too. Can you do your "analysis" on that one as well. Thanks God Bless you Brother. |
 | how come you dont lke joseph prince? |
 | So you're saying you wanna keep judging people by asking me that question |
